- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆My car was suddenly taken ill one Sunday recently whilst on our way back to my daughters school in Burgess Hill. A thorough going-over by the AA man revealed the need for 2 new shocks, 2 new bushes, possible brake replacement and either an exhaust repair or replacement. It didnt bode well....... Needing my car back for the drive to London on Weds evening, I called the garage on Mon morning, spoke to a very confident lady (Amy), and booked my car in for first thing Tues morning. Amy assured me that they should be able to get everything sorted in time, and would also give my car a quick safety check for me whilst they had it. When I dropped my car off on Tues, she had already sourced the parts required and was keen to get started. When I picked the car up on Weds afternoon, Amy hadnt let me down - she had completed all of the repairs and my car had a new lease of life. Amy and her colleagues were very polite and helpful; they never once made me feel uneasy (all too common for women drivers with no tech knowledge), didnt blind me with science, and they even tried to save me money, seeing if they could repair first rather than replace. The price I paid was exactly what I was expecting, and my car is driving really nicely. I know the repairs required werent a huge job, or particularly complex, but Amy still worked hard to get the job done. This is a busy little garage, and I cant thank them enough for getting me booked in and sorted so quickly. If you need a local garage to do a good job for you, and be polite and helpful in the process, I highly recommend.By Admin, May 28, 2017
